Facilities Maintenance Pyramid Lake Lodge

The starting wage for this position is $21.00 per hour.

This is a seasonal position beginning March 31 and running until October 31 2025.

• Contribute to the ongoing maintenance of the 7 hotel properties whilemaintainingthe highest standard of quality
• Daily duties tomaintainthe upkeep of all facilities including pools restaurants guest rooms and meeting rooms
• Frequent interaction with coworkersmanagementand guests
• Complete basic repairs to guest rooms and other areas of hotel andassistsupervisors and the Maintenance Manager with major repairs
• Complete yard work as required including snow removal gardening mowing lawns etc.
• Encourage andparticipatein safe work practices
• Assistother departments asrequired including guest services security etc.
• Report to the Maintenance Manager and complete all projects and tasks as assigned

• Grade 12 Diploma combined with education in a trade or equivalent experience is an asset
• Creative thinking andproblem solvingskills
• Selfstarter whois able towork independently with minimal supervision
• Eager to learn and grow as a member of our dynamic team
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience or knowledge in related maintenance areas is an asset (basic plumbing electrical carpentry pool treatment and painting) but onsite training can be provided.
• Basic knowledge of tools and their uses (tools provided)
• Ability to manage large workloads and demands and effectively multitask
• Ability to work flexible shifts day 7am3pm) and night 3pm11pm)
• Must have a valid driverslicense and clean driving abstract
• Class 4 Albertadriverslicense is an asset
• Steel toed work boots are required for this role (worker supplied) we will provide pants shirt and jacket for your uniform (boot allowance opportunity after 1 year completed service)
