Job Description
Salary/Position Classification
- $7.25 Hourly NonExempt (Eligible for overtime)
- 40 hours per week
- 100 Remote Work Availability:Yes
- Hybrid Work Availability:No
Purpose of Position
This is a parttime nonbenefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position. Course will run from 5/16/25 to 6/1/25 (may extend some depending on weather situations).
Duties & Responsibilities
- To safely combine driving and previous weather/storm forecasting skills while participating in the ATSC 499 course that runs for the two weeks during the early summer session. (Essential)

Ability to get along with many types of people
Ability to drive long distances
Minimum Requirements
Valid Drivers License with excellent driving history.
Successful Completion of a Criminal History Background Check.
In compliance with federal law all persons hired will be required to verify identityand eligibility to work in the US and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.This position does not support visa sponsorship for continued employment.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience with the summer storm course.
Thunderstorm forecasting experience.
Prior Teaching Assistant experience
