The Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Field Service Engineer to join our dynamic team across Belgium. This role requires a skilled technical professional with strong interpersonal skills capable of providing exceptional customer service while working independently and collaboratively with local teams. You will be responsible for the installation maintenance and repair of technical equipment ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

DaytoDay Responsibilities

  • Installation and Configuration:Install and configure equipment and systems at customer sites according to specifications and client needs.
  • Maintenance and Repairs:Perform regular maintenance troubleshooting and repair of technical equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal functionality.
  • Customer Support:Act as the primary contact for clients providing technical assistance addressing inquiries and guiding them on equipment use and maintenance best practices.
  • Documentation:Document all service activities report technical issues and provide detailed feedback to internal teams to enhance products and services.
  • Collaboration:Work closely with engineering and sales teams to relay customer feedback and assist in resolving technical challenges effectively.
  • Continuous Improvement:Remain proactive in seeking new methods and processes to improve service delivery and enhance customer satisfaction.

Working Conditions

  • The position is structured around a fourday workweek:
    • Monday:8:30 AM 6:00 PM
    • Tuesday:8:30 AM 6:00 PM
    • Wednesday:8:30 AM 5:30 PM
    • Saturday:8:30 AM 5:00 PM

Who Are We Looking For

We are looking for proactive individuals with a passion for technology and a customerfirst attitude. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong problemsolving abilities and a commitment to delivering quality service. In practice this means:

  • Technical degree or relevant certification in engineering or technology.
  • Fluent in both languages French and Dutch.
  • Familiarity with Windows environments and Microsoft Office applications (Excel PowerPoint Word Outlook).
  • Strong ability to work autonomously while also thriving in a teamoriented environment.
  • Flexibility and a proactive approach to problemsolving and service delivery.
  • Commercial acumen and the ability to identify customer needs.
  • A valid Type B driving license.
  • Excellent customer orientation and communication skills.
  • Previous experience in troubleshooting testing and servicing technical equipment is a plus.
