As a Milieu Coordinatorat ERC Pathlight you can expect to be a part of team that delivers handson treatmentgrouptherapy sessions and/or support to our patients in one of our many centers around the nation. Our MCs are responsible for facilitating therapeutic groups based on core curriculum. The Milieu Coordinatoroffers milieu support deescalation and behavior coaching to patients in IP/Res and PHP will build on your education in this therapist in training role!
You will serve patients daily in a multitude of ways:
Facilitates curriculumbased therapeutic groups
Crosstrain acrossthelevels ofcarewithin your program
Milieu Management
Deescalation and crisis management
Bathroom monitoring/flush checks
Behavior coaching
Conducts selfharm and suicide safety checks
Supports morning routine in IP/Res programs
Collect weights vitals and urine in some settings
Documentation of groups meals patient checkins and observations
Milieu Coordinator I Must haves:
Bachelors degree required
6 months of behavioral healthexperience required
Understanding of deescalation techniques and ACT/DBT skills training
Knowledge and application of Trauma Informed Care
Milieu Coordinator II Must haves:
Bachelors Degree Required
Masters degree Preferred(in Mental Health or related field)
Clinical associate/intern license strongly preferred
18 months behavioral healthexperience Required (Requirement waived with relevant Masters Degree)
1 year experience Groupcurriculumfacilitation and therapeutic milieu skills Preferred
Understanding ofdeescalation techniques and ACT/DBT skills training
Knowledge and application of Trauma Informed Care
Demonstrates knowledge of the variety of ways clients express stress reactions both behaviorally (e.g. avoidance aggression passivity) and psychologically/emotionally (e.g. hyperarousal avoidance intrusive memories)

Compensation starting range for the Milieu Coordinator I role is $21.00 to $24.50 hourly.
Compensation starting range for the Milieu Coordinator II role is $24.25 to $29.00 hourly.
Ranges are based upon market expectations and are dependent upon candidate experience and education.
