Our cosmetic laser technician works under the supervision of a medical doctor or a nurse in our medspa after completing training to use our cosmetic lasers and a variety of skin care applications. A topnotch medspa technician is highly motivated to provide the best in treatment and in service. A successful technician works independently and as part of a team to improve the confidence and selfesteem of a client. Great customer service skills are required for this position as well as attention to detail and the willingness to consistently pursue training to stay current as cosmetic laser technology advances.


INTRODUCTION
American Laser Med Spa specializes in Laser Hair Removal. We offer the following services:

  • Laser Hair Removal
  • Coolsculpting NonSurgical Permanent Fat Removal (Select locations only)
  • Mesopen Microneedling
  • Ultrasonic facials highend medicalgrade facial
  • Cosmetic injections Botox and Dermal Fillers (Juvederm)



COMPENSATION

  • $15/hr

After 90 days on the job your personal cosmetic procedures (eg Laser Hair removal Ultrasonic facials etc) are free as long as you are actively employed. You can also purchase injectables at employee price. This perk is solely at the discretion of the company and may be terminated at any time with or without notice. There are strict rules for qualification. Refer to the Employee Handbook for details.


WORK HOURS
Clinic hours are 9a6p MondaySaturday. Our techs work 5 days a week usually 3640 hours. We are closed Sundays and holidays.

JOB DUTIES

Approximately 50 of scheduled time will be treatments. 20 will be documentation. The remainder of the techs time will be filled with upsells training and other clinic duties.

FREE TRAINING

You will receive FREE Medical training. It costs us $3K$5K to train a new employee. If you are hired you may be required to drive/fly to Amarillo for 23 days for training. Your travel expenses will be covered by the company. You will be sharing a hotel room with another student. Should your spouse accompany you for the training you will be responsible for the hotel room expenses. Our company provides ongoing technical training and sales support. Our team is encouraged to develop together.

DRESS CODE
Our clinic staff members wear scrubs with our logo. Ordering information will be provided at orientation. The first pair are to be ordered within your first 30 days of employment and the second pair are to be ordered within 60 days of employment. Comfortable closedtoe shoes suitable for a medical environment are essential. As part of your compensation package you will be reimbursed $200 on your oneyear anniversary.

NONCOMPETE CLAUSE
We require new hires to sign a noncompete clause. If hired you agree not to work directly for our competitors in a 50mile radius for ONE YEAR after voluntarily leaving the job; such as another clinic performing laser hair removal. We invest heavily in you and its only fair that should things not work out you dont give our techniques to our direct competitors.
