Job Summary:

Seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team in Tucson Arizona as a MV Electrician at the Tucson Proving Ground. As an electrician you will be responsible for safely performing the installation maintenance and repairs of electrical equipment and building electrical power distribution systems. What you will do:

  • Champion a safetyfirst mindset ensuring a hazard free work environment
  • Install maintain and repair electrical systems for manufacturing equipment and plant infrastructure per local and National Electric Codes
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical components of CNC machining centers and other industrial equipment
  • Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency
  • Read schematics and blueprints estimating materials and parts for projects
  • Maintain accurate documentation of labor hours work orders and equipment status
  • Take initiative to identify document and correct problems related to equipment discrepancies and recommend solutions
  • Coordinate and prioritize work to meet customer needs
  • Work crossfunctionally to support production teams and meet operational goals and KPIs
  • Contribute to Continuous Improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing process enhancements
  • Execute daily work assignments directed by the Production Manager
  • Work with limited supervision
  • Perform other assigned duties
  • Overseeing building services and the installation and maintenance of production equipment and building systems.
  • Communicating with suppliers technical support to address equipment or infrastructure disruptions.
  • Performing routinetocomplex engineering work potentially on multiple or large facilities.
  • Manages planning and control of small to medium scope facilities projects. Provides products and services to clients requirements.

What you will have:

  • 20 years MV Experience
  • Experience in manufacturing mining or industrial setting as an electrician
  • Strong knowledge of electrical schematics and blueprints
  • Experience with electrical diagnostic tools (VOM Megger etc.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

What would make you a top candidate:

  • Indepth knowledge of Mining Equipment Applications
  • Heavy equipment maintenance experience.
  • Solar power distribution knowledge microgrid experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand sit and perform repetitive operations for extended periods
  • Exposure to 85db noise levels and industrial fumes
  • Comfortable climbing ladders and working at multiple heights
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Troubleshooting Technical Problems: Knowledge of troubleshooting approaches tools and techniques; ability to anticipate detect and resolve technical problems in a manufacturing environment.

Resolves difficult or highimpact equipment and systems problems.
Monitors machine performance and history; addresses excessive maintenance or repair needs.

Additional Information:

  • Schedule: Monday Friday 6:00AM 2:30PM
  • Overtime as required
