This position is one of performing Respiratory Therapy modalities in a progressive health care environment. On a daytoday basis the therapist will often have to perform technical procedures on complex life support systems and make on the spot decisions that affect patient care In a wide variety of settings from neonatal to geriatric. The therapist also has the responsibility for assuring that all prescribed therapy is performed with quality.Job Description:
EDUCATION
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
HS Diploma
Other: Graduate from an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE
RCPRespiratory Care Practitioner
BLSBasic Life Support Healthcare Provider
Active membership in the A.A.R.C. (American Association for Respiratory Care) recommended.
Active membership in the C.S.R.C. (California Society for Respiratory Care) recommended License or Certification.
Must have present and maintain current valid license from Respiratory Care Examining Committee.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN
One or more years experience in the practical application of Respiratory Therapy under medical supervision.
With experience In the practical application of Respiratory Therapy procedures under medical direction.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Demonstration of proficiency during clinical rotation in accredited school of Respiratory Therapy.
Must present valid license from Respiratory Care Board or Certificate of Completion from accredited Respiratory Therapy Program and a valid work permit.

Pay Range is $53.04 to $67.32 / hourThe salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidates experience education skills licensure and certifications department equity training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
