About the role
Joining the Sunfam team as a Welder/Fabricator you will be joining Bundabergs leading retailer in agricultural products. In this varied role you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling pipework and irrigation equipment both in our workshop and on client sites.
Responsibilities:
As a Welder you will:
Read and interpret technical drawings/ blueprints of irrigation systems
Perform welding on various metals and materials for the fabrication and repair of irrigation system components (e.g. pipes fittings supports valves etc.
Collaborate with project teams to assemble and install irrigation equipment and systems
Maintain welding equipment tools and materials in good working order
Welding components using manual or semiautomatic welding equipment
About you:
To succeed at Sunfam you have:
Demonstrated knowledge of welding techniques including MIG TIG and Stick
Ability to read and interpret a variety of blueprints
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Effective communication skills with the ability to work as a team
Current drivers license and reliable vehicle
