We are looking for an ambulatory executive with extensive experience in surgical services neuromuscular services and womens health. The Service Line Executive (SLE)is a key member of the division executive leadership team overseeing all of ambulatory operations in the following specialties: Orthopedics Podiatry Neurosurgery Urology Pain Management Physical Therapy Ophthalmology Audiology Obstetrics & Gynecology MaternalFetal Medicine GynecologyOncology UroGynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology. The SLE collaborates with regional ambulatory surgery centers and acute care centers to ensure an integrated care experience for our patients. This leader partners with medical group leaders to strategize and deliver exceptional patient care across our large geography. Given the exciting and rapid growth in Greater Silicon Valley we are looking for a highenergy leader that can grow programs and grow teams.Plans monitors integrates coordinates and evaluates the operations within their scope of responsibilities within the affiliate. Functions as a member of the Operating Unit service line team and is a senior member of the affiliate leadership team in setting overall administrative and strategic direction and ensuring positive medical group relations. Leads cultural change create a patientcentered seamless care experience across all service areas. Integrates clinical services with an eye on humancentered design and with key clinical partners promote employee engagement and continuous improvement through innovation are key areas of focus. Exercises necessary and appropriate authority and accountability for the service line including quality of care patient satisfaction financial goals and responsible for managing local capital priorities that align with and meet the overall capital expenditures for the affiliates operating budget.
Job Description:
EDUCATION:
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
- Bachelors: Healthcare business or related field or equivalent education/experience
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
- 15 years recent relevant experience
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Interpersonal and communication skills (written verbal and presentation/public speaking).
- Skills in leadership conflict identification and resolution group problem solving and group process as well as organization and prioritization.
- Effective as a team leader and team member with a bias toward timely and appropriate action.
- Customer service excellence orientation with emphasis on continuous quality improvement.

Pay Range is $125.54 to $200.87 / hourThe salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidates experience education skills licensure and certifications department equity training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
