Senior Electronic hardware engineer
Understanding the system requirements and derive hardware requirement for PCBA
Conduct feasibility studies and evaluate different hardware options to determine the most suitable solution.
Take ownership and lead the conceptual studies by designing building testing
Design and build prototypes at the module or system level.
Analog & Digital circuit design using ADC DAC Opamps Transistors MOSFETS Sensors Signal Conditioning circuits microcontroller/ Microprocessor Memories FPGA Various communication interfaces (I2CSPI RS485Ethernet) IOT platforms
Familiarity with microcontrollers Xilinx FPGA communication protocols (e.g. UART SPI I2C) and power management.
Ownership component selections schematics entry able to perform analog and digital circuit simulations BOM management layout reviews.
Owner of hardware design reviews.
Identify and troubleshoot hardware issues providing timely resolution.
Identify the technical risks in the design propose / implement mitigation strategies.
Actively participate in DFMEA processes
Strong expertise in Analog circuit designs involving Opamps instrumentation amplifiers and ADCs for data acquisition DACs
Knowledge of high speed board design challenges Understanding of IPC standards for High speed board designs
Good understanding power supply designs: DC DC converters (Buck/Boost/LDOs).
Experience in using lab equipment like DMMs Oscilloscopes power supplies Signal generators LCR meter and Electronic load.
Obsolescence process Customer support for field issues Interact with suppliers
Electronic circuit modeling & simulation.
Worked on projects from requirement to final product release (circuit design prototyping and testing) and maintenance.
Hand on experience ontesting tools (DSO DMMFG electronic loads etc. circuit validation board bring up functional testing trouble shooting Failure analysis
Experience in developing detailed schematics and schematic capture using CAD tools
Experience with Sensors Data Acquisition systems and LabView
Expertise on PCB design process Technical document writing
Good Communication and interpersonal skills.
Good to have skills:
Knowledge in product certification process (Handle testing at EMC/ Safety) labs is preferred.
Knowledge in Documentation release process Reliability testing
Knowledge in Power electronics devices Industrial drives Servo Motor drives and other electrical devices
Experience in using lab equipment like DMMs Oscilloscopes power supplies Signal generators LCR meter and Electronic load.
