Xylem is looking for a MechanicalService Center Technician to report to our Jacksonville FL location to service and maintain our Commercial/Industrial Pumps.
What your day will look like as a MechanicalService Center Technician
The MechanicalService Center Technician will be responsible for the onsite troubleshooting repair and tracking of our commercial/industrial pumps and their corresponding mechanical and electrical components. Equipment specific training will be provided. Willing to train the right person but previous experience working in a commercial or industrial mechanical environment is especially encouraged.
This position operates on a standard day shift MondayFriday.
The MechanicalService Center Technician will be responsible for providing their own tools.

Position Requirements for MechanicalService Center Technicians
HS diploma or equivalent
13 years diesel mechanic experience preferred
Ability to diagnosemechanical and electrical issues
Ability to safely operate hand tools power tools and lifting equipment
Mechanical aptitude with an understanding of methods materials tools and techniques used in equipment repair and maintenance
Ability to work independently with little or no supervision; selfmotivated and selfdirected
Ability to pass a background check MVR check and drug screen
A valid drivers license with a clean driving record
