Qualifications:
Education:
Registered Nurse (RN) Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or;
Licensed Clinical Social Worker: Master of Social Work or Social Welfare (MSW) or;
Psychologist: Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Psychology or;
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (NP): Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)

License & Certifications:
Registered Nurse (RN) The California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN) or;
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) California Board of Behavioral Sciences or;
Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) California Board of Psychology or;
Psychiatrc Nurse Practitioner (NP) The California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN) and;
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification American Heart Association (AHA)

Experience:
3 5 years supervisory and/or management experience in an ambulatory behavioral healthcare setting including but not limited to clinical practice budgets fiscal management and revenue cycle.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Manages the delivery of ambulatory behavioral health patient care ensuring efficient and highquality care that meets clinical standards.
Facilitates patient care activities and participates in practice or center management operations to optimize overall performance.
Oversees clinic operational flow including procedures and Apex In Basket management ensuring patient safety and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Comprehensive knowledge of operations in ambulatory settings and how departmental processes impact other areas across the network and the continuum of behavioral healthcare within the enterprise.
Indepth understanding of clinical workflows and the ability to manage operational clinic work ensuring compliance with state federal and local regulations.
Keeps abreast of and implements new or changing patient care standards policies procedures and programs to enhance care delivery and maintain regulatory compliance.
Collaborates with physicians medical directors behavioral health service line leadership and other key contributors to develop healthcare practice standards and service improvements.
Develops staff through collaborative decisionmaking enhancing communication and clinical outcomes.
Ability to form strong relationships with physicians medical directors and other stakeholders contributing to business objectives and quality improvement initiatives.
Represents the psychiatry clinic on committees contributing to program development and quality improvement.
Demonstrates tactical and analytical thinking capable of developing plans to achieve objectives identify obstacles and resolve operational issues.
Manages patient care costeffectively including budgeting staffing needs and clinic performance monitoring.
Collaborates on fiscal planning and drafting business plans to enhance quality improvements and overall clinic performance.
Demonstrates strong organizational and time management skills effectively prioritizing multiple projects while delivering quality service.
Exhibits excellent verbal and written communication as well as interpersonal skills fostering effective collaboration across the organization.
Ability to work in a dynamic fastpaced environment adapting to changing business priorities with ease.
Able to handle difficult circumstances and make sound business decisions independently.
Comprehensive understanding of wage and hour laws ensuring compliance in staffing and operations.
Ensures clinic operations meet legal and regulatory standards while aligning with best practices in patient care.
Delivers a strong customer service focus in all decisions and actions prioritizing patient and staff satisfaction.
Demonstrates the ability to interact respectfully with a diverse population and fosters an inclusive workspace that values cultural differences.

Skills & Knowledge:
Knowledge of operations in ambulatory setting and how the departments process/workflow impacts other areas operation throughout the Network and enterprise behavioral health services.
Ability to form relationships with physicians and medical directors as well as other key company contributors.
Proven leadership skills including team building and coaching/mentoring with the ability to motivate and engage others.
Indepth understanding of operations and clinical workflows.
Demonstrates tactical and analytical thinking and planning skills and is able to develop a plan to accomplish objectives identify obstacles and resolve operational issues.
Ability to build and establish effective working partnerships to achieve business objectives.
Verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to handle difficult circumstances and make sound business decisions with little direction.

Preferred Skills & Knowledge:
Knowledge/experience with electronic medical records or practice management systems. Use of EPIC/APeX software a plus.
Proficiency in MS Office products.
