We are looking for seasoned application architects with strong development and design background in designing innovative cloud native applications with Java family of tools to innovate our flagship SAP Business Network SaaS applications. We deliver and operate our application on the SAP Business Technology Platform we use the latest concepts and technologies of microservice architecture continuous delivery security and Development Operations.

Your responsibility will cover all stages and tasks within the entire cloud software development cycle mainly leading collaborate with various stakeholders and chief architects to finalize solution design and driving implementation.

You need to be comfortable to work in an agile environment bringing in your competencies as a team player establishing standards in our team sharing your knowledge motivating other team members building consensus while being open to new ideas and approaches at the same time.

What youll do

• Following the SAPs cloud strategy lead the cloud adoption plans application design and monitoring
• Ensuring cloud security including monitoring the companys cloud privacy and establishing a cloud security governance framework
• Diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues in cloud environments
• Translating project requirements into a cloud structure that meets those requirements and designing the applications to satisfy all of the needs
• Participate in all aspects of agile software development including design implementation deployment and defect fixing
• Collaborate with various stakeholders and chief architects to propose solution design Document design recommendations and decision and articulate the technical merits and value of the design proposals/decisions
• Implementing established design patterns and architectural principles to create robust scalable and maintainable applications
• Work primarily in Java SAP UI5 Microservices Javascript along with SAPBusiness Technology Platform CAP/CDS and SAP Hana database
• Engage with inspiring designers and frontend engineers and collaborate with leading backend engineers to create reliable features and APIs

What you bring
Our ongoing expansion relies on the expertise of individuals who possess diverse skills knowledge and backgrounds. We are currently seeking for candidates who possesses the following skills:

• Degree (Bachelor Master) in information technology computer or natural science engineering or equivalent subject
• 10 plus years of industry experience along with at least 3 years of experience in software architecture design and developing cloud applications
• Excellent leadership and agile development skills
• Good understanding of deployment environments configuration of applications and change management principles
• Should possess an understanding of at least one RDBMS system
• Excellent skills in managing the stakeholders
• Interest in learning new tools languages workflows and philosophies
• Professional certifications in relevant technical areas would be useful
• Expert knowledge in Java SQL Any UI framework JavaScript SprintBoot Microservices methodologies Design Patterns Cloud Native Application Development methodologies
• Good understanding of any one cloud platforms such as GCP Azure AWS
• Working knowledge of Git Docker and Kubernetes Azure Pipelines
• High commitment to quality reliability and a selfmotivating style of working
• Good analytical and communication skills and willingness to continuously learn
• Good hold on testdriven development unit tests continuous integration & delivery committer/contributor model
