What will you help us create

As Senior Power System Engineer you will be responsible on creating power models power architectures and solving system level power issues. You will work with multidisciplinary groups including Product Design Industrial Design Hardware Engineering Software Engineering and Thermal Engineering to help drive key aspects of the development and design of consumer electronics products. The ideal candidate should have solid understanding of SystemonChip (SoC) architecture and subsystem power consumption Camera and Display interfaces DSPs and MCUs. A solid understanding of power electronics including regulator topologies and PMIC architectures. Knowledge of audio amplifiers is a plus.

Key job responsibilities
Design power architectures and power modeling for consumer electronic products
Perform Power validation testing and characterization at subsystem and product level.
Create battery life projections and implement power optimizations
Design and deliver innovative power technology solutions to products.
Technical knowledge of SoC DDR MCUs DSPs Displays Cameras Battery Chargers and Audio.
Collaborate with crossfunctional engineering teams across the organization
Experienced with Python Scripting is a plus



Bachelors degree in electrical engineering
Experience as a Power Systems Engineer
Experience debugging circuits
Experience working with cross functional teams to execute product design from concept to production

Experience working with interdisciplinary teams
Masters degree in electrical engineering
Experience with Power System Knowledge of consumer electronics

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $213600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
