Job Description
Jewelry Store Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of a jewelry stores operations ensuring profitability and delivering exceptional customer service. This includes managing staff inventory sales and marketing activities all while maintaining a positive and professional store environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Customer Service:
Drive sales by developing and implementing sales strategies ensuring exceptional customer service and resolving customer complaints.
Store Operations:
Manage daytoday store operations including opening and closing procedures maintaining store cleanliness and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Inventory Management:
Monitor inventory levels order new stock and ensure proper storage and display of jewelry.
Staff Management:
Hire train motivate and mentor store employees and address any performance issues.
Financial Management:
Manage budgets track sales performance and prepare reports on sales and other metrics.
Marketing and Promotion:
Plan and execute marketing activities promotions and local events to attract customers.
People Development:
Contribute to the development of staff through training and mentorship creating a performancedriven culture.
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as company policies and procedures.
Essential Skills:
Leadership and Management:
Ability to lead and motivate a team delegate tasks effectively and resolve conflicts.
Customer Service:
Excellent communication interpersonal and problemsolving skills to ensure customer satisfaction.
Sales and Marketing:
Understanding of sales techniques marketing strategies and promotional activities.
Inventory Management:
Ability to track inventory levels order new stock and manage inventory effectively.
Financial Acumen:
Ability to manage budgets track sales performance and prepare financial reports.
Knowledge of Jewelry:
Familiarity with different types of jewelry precious metals and gemstones.
Organizational Skills:
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously prioritize effectively and stay organized.
Additional Responsibilities:
Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on sales inventory and other metrics.
Vendor Relations: Manage relationships with jewelry vendors and suppliers.
Security: Ensure store security and prevent theft.
