Your mission should you choose to accept it involves crafting and leading projects that infuse digital solutions into the heart of IKEA Retailers ensuring they thrive within the IKEA concept. Youll weave together ideas and like a master craftsperson delivering on time on point and on budgetall while embracing a nimble and inventive approach.  

Packed bags are a must as this role invites you to globetrot up to 50 of the time from the bustling streets of Asia to the vibrant sands of the MiddleEast. 

Qualifications: 

• Youre a veteran Project Leader & Programme Manager with over 8 years enchanting the global stage in business or process development. 

• A wizard with project management certification (PRINCE2 preferred) ensuring projects run smoother than a freshly assembled IKEA sofa. 

• Strong understanding of IKEA processes organization.  

• Outstanding planning communication skills leadership and stakeholder management.

• Proven track record of running successful business and digital projects.  

• Experience with agile and hybrid project methodologies.  

• Ability to manage multiple projects and influence within an agile environment.  

• Fluent in English both written and spoken.  

• Ability to travel internationally. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Take the helm of global retailer and market transition projects offering a franchisors perspective on our core digital retail offerings. 

• Be the friendly face and voice for projects nurturing strong relationships and smooth communication with all stakeholders. 

• Keep projects on track with the agreed scope time and budget while keeping an eye on potential bumps in the road. 

• Ensure deliverables shine bright with quality thanks to your topnotch managerial and communication skills. 

• Untangle dependencies within projects and bridge connections with internal and external organizations. 

• Keep the timeline ticking with active planning milestone tracking and thorough reporting.

We are moving into a new chapter with an ambition to provide IKEA retailers with a set of digital products and services that are integrated into the IKEA value chain and support the omnichannel IKEA Concept. We call this the Core offer and it covers key capabilities for retail operations.

This role includes extensive global travel. This is a fulltime role 40 hours per week) located in Delft Netherlands Malm Sweden or Vilnius Lithuania.

When you return from your travels at IKEA we believe that were better when were physically together for collaboration dialogues and conversations. We believe in the power of human interactions; the informal chats the energy belonging and creativity generated by people being in the same place. Our approach is that we spend most of our time in the IKEA workplace and with the flexibility to work from home when relevant.
