Job Description
AMIGA Montessori is a familyrun organisation experiencing rapid growth in the childcare sector. We currently operate 16 centres (and counting) dedicated to providing highquality education and care for children aged 6 weeks to six years in purposebuilt facilities. Our holistic approach draws on Montessori principlespractical life sensory experiences mathematics culture and languageand aligns with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
About the Role
Our Burwood centre is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic 2IC to support and inspire our team of educators. In this role youll help ensure the centre runs smoothly deliver engaging learning experiences and maintain high standards of quality and care.

Skills and Qualifications
Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQArecognised equivalent/higher qualification)
Valid Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)
First Aid Certificate including asthma and anaphylaxis training
Solid understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standard (NQS)
Ability to support mentor and lead a team of educators when the Centre Manager is absent
Competence in managing daily operations from staffing to parent communication
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong problemsolving abilities
Montessori qualifications or experience (highly desirable)
