Job Title: Shared Services Coordinator Management Analyst 4
Location: Olympia WA Flexible/Hybrid. While this project position ends September 20 2025 DCYF aims to seek and secure PDG renewal grant funding in 202526 and 202627.

Salary:$5643 $7589 Monthly

We are looking for a Shared Services Coordinator to join our Early Learning Programs team as the subject matter expert regarding the implementation of Shared Services for early learning providers as part of the Preschool Development Grant (PDG). You will oversee contract deliverable for business services and comprehensive services related to the Shared Services portion of the PDG. This position serves as a liaison and provides technical assistance to implementation partners in the project to support overall implementation. The incumbent of this position will communicate with stakeholders regarding progress and seek feedback to inform of next steps.

The Opportunity:
As the Shared Services Coordinator (MA4youwill support the Early Learning Division to identify strategies for sustaining Shared Services beyond the Preschool Development Grant implementation period by leveraging a combination of local regional state and federal funding including ECEAP and other state funding streams.
Join a collaborative team environment in the Workforce Growth Quality Recognition Unit. You will have the opportunity to partner with child care providers communitybased organizations and DCYF work groups in designing and leading implementation of workforce supports through shared services.

Some of what you will do:
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Shared Services.
  • Provide project management for work related to Shared Services.
  • Organize a steering committee and carry out all duties for the committee including recruitment participants scheduling coordinating planning preparing and facilitating meetings.
  • Lead the development implementation and practice assessment of a strategic plan including goals objectives and timelines.
  • Draft policies and guidelines to support the implementation of Shared Services.
  • Facilitate a process to help partners identify barriers and develop solutions related to project progress and make recommendations for a path forward.
Required Qualifications:
  • Equivalent of education and experience implementing community engagement initiatives report writing and contract management totaling a minimum of eight 8 years.
OR
  • A Bachelors degree in business administration public administration program management and leadership social services human services psychology sociology public health or a related field AND four 4 years of experience. implementing community engagement initiatives report writing and public speaking.

In addition to those required qualifications our ideal applicant will also have some or all of the following:
  • Four years of experience in a professional setting where strong interpersonal skills and effective communication are necessary.
  • Previously demonstrated knowledge and experience working with professional development including state professional development systems trainer and training approval state registries or related.
  • Previously demonstrated experience developing policies programs and resources that promote racial equity and social justice.
  • Previously demonstrated indepth knowledge of the early learning field including state system development federal requirements for early learning professionals and involvement and responsibilities in supporting early learning professionals.
  • Previously demonstrated knowledge of professional learning approaches including teaching strategies observation documentation feedback and training adult educators.
  • Previously demonstrated experience with policies and procedures handbooks and general communication documents to support program improvements.
  • Previously demonstrated ability to organize prioritize and complete multiple projects with accuracy.
