Job Description
Zooxs Vehicle Development Team is seeking an entry level engineer to participate in an Engineering Rotational Program. The Vehicle Development Engineering Rotational Program (VDERP) is a professional development program designed to provide handson experience across critical vehicle development system program offers earlycareer engineers the opportunity to contribute to the development of autonomous vehicles while gaining diverse technical expertise across Zoox Vehicle Engineering and Vehicle Integration Departments.

In this role you will:
- Collaborate with a team of worldclass engineers with diverse backgrounds in areas such as AI robotics mechatronics planning machine learning control localization computer vision rendering simulation distributed computing design and automated testing.
- Be challenged to rethink what it means for hardware design to arrive at elegant and efficient systems now that a robot is in control.
Qualifications
- BS or MS in Mechanical Electrical Automotive Engineering or Robotics
- Strong academic performance
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Passion for autonomous vehicle technology

Compensation
There are three major components to compensation for this position: salary Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. The salary range for this position is $105000 to $135000. A signon bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling as well as positioning within a level is determined by a range of factors including but not limited to a candidates relevant years of experience domain knowledge and interview performance. The salary range listed in this posting is representative of the range of levels Zoox is considering for this position.
