Job Description
The Senior Contracts Specialist works cross functionally with Best Buy Ads/Retail Media Network teams and other internal partners to develop sales contract strategies as well as negotiate execute and maintain Best Buy Ads/Retail Media Networks sales contracts. Additionally this team provides analysis oversight and support to the Best Buy Ads sales teams to ensure compliance with all applicable laws in alignment with Best Buy policies and procedures.
This role is hybrid which means you will be required to work some days onsite at a new Best Buy Ads office in Midtown Manhattan and some days virtually from home or another nonBest Buy location. What youll do
- Independently manages high volume of contract sales agreements and insertion orders as well as coordinate the processing storage and maintenance of sales contracts insertion orders certificates of insurance and other contractual documents necessary to maintain sales relationships
- Assist sales teams by analyzing RFP requirements special provisions terms and conditions regulations and corporate policies while facilitating the signature authority requirement for participation in RFPs
- Proficient in every phase of the contracting process including redlining negotiation administration of contract extensions terminations and renewals
- Develop a working knowledge of applicable laws regulations and policies specific to the business in partnership with Best Buy Legal.
- Ensures protection of company interests and intellectual property through compliance with contract terms policies and regulations
- Drives personal accountability and productivity. Effective use of time and resources. Detail orientated highly motivated selfstarter
- 1 or more years of contracting experience (for sale or procurement)
- 1 or more years of project program experience
- 1 or more years of building relationship with crossfunctional partners and influencing change and driving progress
- Sales/Procurement or Legal experience a plus
- Specific experience with contracts related to Ads and/or Media
- Experience in business development and/or project management
- Possess natural curiosity asking questions when necessary to understand a problem
- Strong organization communication and presentation skills
