Compensation:
- Starting hourly rate for this position is: $26.00 per hour
- Pay is based on jobrelated experience
Schedule:
- Varied schedule based on available freight.
- Average 5060 hours per week; can include weekends.
Location:
- Based out of St. Michael MN with deliveries across the continental United States.
Essential Functions:
- Deliver product in a safe and professional manner within a timeframe designated by customer demands.
- Establish paper trail for each delivery and complete all appropriate D.O.T. and related paperwork.
- Keep vehicles clean.
- Communicate with our mechanics on any problems experienced with vehicles.
- Physically complete all DOT required vehicle inspections and paperwork in order to stay in compliance with all DOT regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Requires Class A Commercial Drivers License.
- Requires DOT Medical Certification.
- Must be willing to work variable hours and days including overtime.
Physical and Environmental Factors:
- Safety Awareness Follow all safety laws policies and procedures. Immediately report safety concerns to supervisor. Attend and successfully complete when applicable all required safety training.
- Quality Awareness Comply with the requirements of the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP) and Food Safety and Quality Food Programs (SQF).
- Requires ability to lift 60 lbs. regularly and occasionally up to 150 lbs.
- Requires ability to control a two wheeler down a ramp on a trailer.
- A lift assessment DOT physical and drug screen are required of all truck drivers.
- Subject to outside weather conditions.
