Job Description
Habitat Creations is a familyowned company specialising in largescale urban landscaping natural environment remediation and revegetation and native plant supply via our Wholesale Nursery. Our Nursery division is where the Habitat Creations story began and is still the backbone of our entire operations. Our Wholesale Nursery grows several million indigenous aquatic and terrestrial plants per annum supplying the landscaping industry state and local government water authorities catchment management authorities private landholders and our own Landscaping and Environment projects. Together we work towards our shared purpose: to create a healthier environment for all living communities.
Role Overview
- Exciting role delivering native plant stock and materials to internal and external clients across Victoria.
- Loading and unloading of deliveries and completing documentation procedures.
- Be the face of Habitat Creations and play an important role in natural and built environment landscaping projects.
- Up to 40 hours per week 7.30 am 4 pm (hours and shifts may vary due to operational requirements).
This is an important role primarily focused on delivering plant orders to internal and external clients across Victoria from our Wholesale Nursery sites in Moe and Yarragon. Youll be tasked with fulfilling plant deliveries of various sizes using our Medium Rigid Truck or Utility Vehicle and Trailer taking great pride in your attitude professionalism and appearance when representing the Habitat Creations brand. Key Skills Experience and Qualifications
Essential
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role ideally operating a medium rigid vehicle
- A current and valid Drivers License
- A Medium Rigid Vehicle License
- First Aid Level II
- Construction Industry White Card
- Availability MondayFriday and the flexibility to undertake occasional early starts or late finishes
- Smartphone and the ability to utilise our scheduling app
Highly Desirable
- Nursery/Horticulture experience (native plant ID highly desirable)
- Customer service experience
