Job Description
Job Title: Clinical Dietitian
Location: Coos Bay OR
Hourly Rate: $29.00 to $39.00/hour
Schedule: 4x10hour day shifts 80 hours per pay period
Role Overview:
We are hiring a Clinical Dietitian to join its team and provide critical nutrition support and education for patients and staff. The position offers a balanced lifestyle with scenic 30minute commutes from nearby communities like Reedsport Bandon Coquille Myrtle Point and North Bend.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver clinical nutrition care and education to patients across a range of medical conditions
- Provide evidencebased recommendations to interdisciplinary teams
- Document nutrition assessments care plans and followups in EMR
- Support food service and dietary teams with patientcentered nutrition guidance
- Promote nutritional wellness for patients and collaborate with nursing and medical staff
Skills & Requirements:
- Proficient with computers Microsoft PowerPoint and standard office equipment
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management organization and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist patients with mobility when necessary
- Comfortable working in a healthcare setting with exposure to bodily fluids (standard precautions required)
Physical & Environmental Demands:
- Frequent standing walking bending squatting reaching and stretching
- Must have adequate hearing color vision and eyehand coordination
- Capable of quick physical response to patient needs
