We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Nursing Director to join our leadership team. Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) this role is responsible for leading implementing and evaluating nursing operations across MedicalSurgical Telemetry Intensive Care (ICU) and Intermediate Care Units. The Senior Nursing Director ensures the delivery of highquality patient and familycentered care while aligning with the mission values and strategic goals of the organization.
Direct the daily operations and resource management of assigned nursing units to support the overall mission and objectives of the health system.
Provide strategic leadership in collaboration with the CNO to help shape the longterm vision for patient care services and clinical operations.
Lead and evaluate nursing performance across MedicalSurgical Telemetry ICU and Intermediate Care Units ensuring consistent delivery of highquality care.
Promote and sustain a culture of clinical excellence collaboration and accountability among interdisciplinary teams.
Oversee the implementation of evidencebased practices performance improvement initiatives and quality assurance measures.
Support staff development through coaching mentoring and performance evaluations.
Serve as a key resource for clinical decisionmaking regulatory compliance and accreditation readiness.
Collaborate with physicians administration and other departments to improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of North Carolina (required)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA (required)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (required within 60 days of hire)
Specialty nursing certification (preferred)
