Produce Floor Lead
Full Time
As we prepare for our upcoming location in Mason Ohio were hiring for key positions to begin training at our existing stores! This is a unique opportunity to get a head start gain handson experience and be a part of the foundation for our newest location. If you love people and good food join us in making The DLM Experience come alive in Mason.
Do you love great food and great peopleIf so you may be the perfect fit for our Produce team. Were looking for someone passionate about learning about our most seasonal department. Each of our DLM Produce departments are certified organic and offer the best quality fruits and vegetables. Youll have the opportunity to learn the rich stories behind our many local producers and how to create beautiful eyecatching displays all while working alongside great folks.
The Produce Floor Lead starts their day early around 6:00 a.m. and helps with setting the floor and priorities for the day. Applicants should be able to effectively communicate delegate and prioritize tasks. Prior experience in customer service is required and previous merchandising and stock experience is a plus.
Training for this position will take place at one or more of our existing stores and will require a variety of shifts to start.
What Youll Do:
- Provide excellent customer service
- Create and manage eyecatching displays
- Effectively communicate with associates and vendors alike
- Stock and rotate inventory
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- A desire to make folks happy by providing Honestly Better Food and Service
- A willingness to learn about and taste great food
- A willingness to practice theDLM Team Values:Be Honest Safe Helpful and HardWorking
- A good working understanding of DLMs operations and a passion for our company culture
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Strong proactive problemsolving skills
- Strong phone etiquette and computer skills
- Previous customer service experience
- Previous merchandising experience is a plus
- 18 years old or older
- Holiday and weekend schedule availability
- A willingness to work a variety of shifts
Physical Requirements:
- Standing for long periods of time
- Lifting up to 50 lbs.
