Bring your gentleness patience language skills community building and strength based learning approach to our very special South Yarra Preschool.
South Yarra Pre School is situated on the ground floor of one of the 12 storey public housing towers on the Horace Petty Public Housing Estate in Malvern Road South Yarra.
Our kindergarten has a proud history of supporting and working in partnerships with families and our community to promote best outcomes. The kindergarten has a focus on strength based learning and in advocating for social justice. We have a diverse population of families and our language groups include Somali Oromo Vietnamese Arabic Amharic Cantonese Tigrinya Khmer Dinka and Neur.
We are looking for an educator for our integrated three and four year old indoor/outdoor program.
Our Educators support the philosophy of our centre are always calm considerate and empathetic in their approach in working with children and families. This is a unique opportunity to work as a team member with the kindergarten teacher in building strong and positive relationships with children families and the community within and around the public housing complex.
The ability to speak a community language would be highly valued. Somali Oromo Vietnamese Arabic Amharic Cantonese Tigrinya Khmer Dinka or Neur.
