Job Description

US Farathaneis seeking anAutomation Setteron 3rd Shift.

US Farathanehas been a leading source of plastics manufacturing supplying the automotive industry for over 40 years. Through highly technical research and development coupled with a diverse and knowledgeable Management Team and dedicated Associates US Farathane has continued to grow each year. We provide customers with a wide range of fullservice support from black box design concepts to highly engineered composites TPEs and TPOs as well as specialized extrusion andcompression technologies.

As an integral part of our team you will be responsible for maintaining automated systems to optimize production processes.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Connect and disconnect the secondary equipment correctly (Power Air communication connections) to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
Move the secondary equipment from storage to the corresponding press and return it after every finish run.
Check list machine and set it for every run.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to PLC programming and automation equipment (i.e. Perform minor sensor adjustments).
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards in all automation processes.
Report Automation department when any tool pack or secondary has an issue.
Organize the current tool package and main frames.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Forklift certification
Data entry computer skills
Physically fit with the ability to lift objects weighing between 50100lbs
Detailoriented with a focus on precision in automation setup
Excellent problemsolving skills
Ability to ensure proper product quality
Verbal communication skills

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the qualifications of this job. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to use hands to touch handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand walk and sit. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop kneel crouch or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
