We are seeking a dynamic and detailoriented HR Generalist to join our team under the leadership of the HR Director. The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting daytoday human resources operations ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations and fostering a productive and engaging work environment. This position involves handson involvement in onboarding employee relations performance management benefits administration and leave training and HR compliance.

What YOU will do:
Reviews tracks and documents compliance with leave policy working as the liason with our thirdparty vendor. Reviews case log for return to work and possible extension of leaves.
Responsible for all tracking followup and assisting employees with filing all leaves including ADA STD/LTD FMLA Intermittent Work Comp Middle River LOA and referrals.
Coordinate Paternal Leave Educational Military etc.
Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation benefits and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity recognition and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
Handles employmentrelated inquiries from applicants employees and supervisors referring to complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings terminations and investigations.
Maintains compliance with federal state and local employment laws and regulations and recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Maintains knowledge of trends best practices regulatory changes and new technologies in human resources talent management and employment law.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
What YOU must bring to Succeed:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field with 5 years of human resource management experience is required. SHRMCP a plus. Experience with Labor Unions a plus.

Estimate salary range for this role: $88200 to $129000 per year. ST Engineering considers several factors with extending job offers including but not limited to candidates key skills relevant work experience education/training/certification job level and work location. Base salary is only one component of our competitive Total Rewards package.
