Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough examinations of children to assess their health and development.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of pediatric illnesses and conditions.
- Provide comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each childs needs.
- Consult with families to explain diagnoses and discuss treatment options.
- Monitor and manage the medical care of patients over time.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in pediatric medicine.
- Educate families on preventive care and healthy lifestyle practices.
- Document patient histories and treatment plans accurately and timely.
- Participate in community outreach programs to raise awareness about childrens health.
- Supervise and mentor junior medical staff and interns.
- Handle emergencies and provide first-aid care as needed.
- Advocate for the health needs of children within the community.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all healthcare regulations.
- Participate in continuing education programs to enhance professional skills.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Pediatrics from an accredited institution.
- Current medical license to practice in India.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in pediatric practice.
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with children and their families.
- Experience in family counseling and patient education.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and teamwork.
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
- Experience in conducting community health assessments.
- Knowledge of pediatric pharmacology and treatment protocols.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Integrity and professionalism in all aspects of practice.
- Fluency in local languages is an advantage.
