The Role

Your new role will also provide you with the opportunity to learn share knowledge and be mentored on Engineering methodology and processes. Enabled by the support of the Engineering Manager you will also be enrolled in our national Systems Engineering network.

Working in a friendly team to meet the needs of our customer the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) your role involves direct engagement with peers Australian Defence Force personnel capability partners subcontractors and suppliers. You will be responsible for:

  • Managing and maintaining the Authorised Seaworthiness Materiel Delivery Organisation (AMSDO) Technical Risk registers.
  • Establishing and maintaining a system which effectively presents technical risks and issue to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Providing ongoing training and guidance to personnel in Technical Risk Assessments.
  • Conducting investigations within delegation into risk assessments.
  • Facilitating and chairing Monthly Technical risk meetings with key stakeholders.
  • Undertaking of technical risk assessments aligned with Defence processes and with defence systems such as TRMS.
  • Contributing to the development of plans methodology processes and tools of Technical Risk Management.
  • This role will work closely with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders across the country to develop and maintain effective relationships to deliver quality outcomes.
