Job Requirements:
BilingualEnglish and Spanish is mandatory.
Bachelors degrees in occupational safety and health or in a safety related field or an OSHA 500 certificate AND a minimum of 5 years experience in Construction safety plus 3 years of management experience.
Fall protection expert.
Train the trainer is a benefit.
First Aid and CPR certification
Construction Health & Safety Certification preferred (CHST)
Knowledge of Constructionspecific Safety including Fall Protection Scaffolding Confined Space health hazard recognition PPE and clothing
Must have VALID drivers license clean driving record and reliable transportation
Must be able to pass a government background check.
Must currently reside in the United States. Not eligible for sponsorship for candidates outside of the U.S.
Must be able to effectively communicate across the board displaying excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A Day in the Life / Responsibilities
Overall administration of company safety & health program. This role will be located at the Branch and requires 5day work weeks with potential for some weekend and travel/overnight stays as required to support our Projects.
Supervision and support of all company safety standards
Safety Training and Education
Insurance claims and management
Jobsite Safety Inspection and data analysis
Incident investigation and reporting to upper management/executives.
Maintain records of safety meetings onsite and furnish to respective parties on request.
