Job Description
We are looking for Part Time Receptionist to join our growing team! The right candidate has a cando attitude a friendly demeanor and the ability to provide many levels of support to our clients.
Job Duties
- Answering Phones and Managing Inquiries: Handling incoming phone calls taking messages and directing calls to the appropriate staff members or departments. Addressing inquiries about the facility resident status and general information.
- Checkin and Checkout Procedures: Managing the signin and signout process for visitors ensuring they follow the established protocols. Logging visitors details.
- Mail and Package Handling: Receiving sorting and distributing incoming mail and packages. Arranging outgoing mail and packages for pickup or delivery.
- Assisting Residents: Providing basic assistance to residents directing them to common areas or answering general questions.
- Maintaining Reception Area: Keeping the reception area clean organized and presentable. Ensuring that reading materials and other amenities for visitors are readily available.
- Technology and Administrative Support: Utilizing computer systems and other administrative tasks. Assisting with data entry and paperwork as needed.
- Crisis Management: Being prepared to handle difficult or upset visitors in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Adherence to Policies and Regulations: Ensuring compliance with nursing home policies safety guidelines and relevant regulations.
- Cultural Sensitivity: Demonstrating cultural awareness and sensitivity while interacting with residents and visitors from diverse backgrounds.
Requirements
- Enjoy working in a oneonone setting eager to improve and continuously learn new skills.
- Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.
- Available to work different shifts including nights and/or weekends.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Take pride in providing high quality care.
