This role is based in the Global Procurement function which supports Roches goal of bringing innovative solutions to patients through business and supplier partnerships. We act as the bridge between Roche business functions and our suppliers delivering value through productivity speed risk management sustainability innovative solutions and streamlined buying experiences.
What is Analytics Governance & Enablement
Our team is focused on enabling a bestinclass procurement organization through cocreating delivering and owning such topics and data insights procurement governance performance and capability building. Within the analytics area we strive to connect and work across GP to unlock the power of data to drive insights and decisionmaking for procurement and our customers.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated business analyst to join our Analytics & Insights team within Global Procurement. The successful candidate will manage a diverse group of stakeholders ensuring the delivery of highquality adhoc analytics and insights related to procurement operations data. The role demands strong soft skills advanced data analytics capabilities and extensive experience in stakeholder and project management.
Key responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate analytics projects and deliverables ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project objectives.
Document and prioritize requests implement and manage project plans including timelines deliverables risk management issues escalation and resource allocation.
Serve as the primary liaison between the Analytics team and internal stakeholders understanding and addressing their needs for procurement operations data.
Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships manage expectations and communicate clearly.
Act as a domain knowledge and subject matter expert in procurement operations data providing input advice and knowhow on data availability analytics visualization data analysis usage approaches and best practices.
Analyze complex procurement operations data developing overseeing and improving analytics deliverables and generating actionable insights to support GP and Roche in understanding and improving operational effectiveness and uptake.
Ensure all analytics outputs are accurate reliable and delivered in a userfriendly format.
Foster a collaborative team environment promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
You are a passionate experienced professional in analytics and data insights with a focus on project management and a background in agile environments.
You hold a Masters degree in business management data science/analytics finance or a related field and at least 7 years of progressive experience in analytics data science or a related field.
You have proven experience as a business analyst and a project manager within a procurement operations or supply chain analytics environment.
You have advanced proficiency in analytical software techniques and tools (e.g. SAS R Python SQL Tableau Power BI).
You have demonstrated experience translating business problems into analytical solutions using data modeling techniques with high attention to detail and commitment to quality.
You have strong influencing and presentation skills can translate data into actionable insights and have the ability to convey complex information and meaningful messages to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
You have exceptional organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
You have proven ability to collaborate effectively deliver outcomes and have agility in adapting to changing priorities in a fastpaced environment.
You have excellent businesslevel fluency in English and demonstrated proficiency in communication negotiation and resolving conflicts in a global environment.
Preferred:
Exceptionally qualified applicants with many years of relevant experience but without a Masters degree are also encouraged to apply.
You have a deep understanding of core procurement activities and have practical experience with processes data and systems (e.g. SAP Ariba Coupa) especially those related to data and advanced analytics.
You have an understanding of data management and systems (e.g. Snowflake).
You have an understanding of data governance and compliance considerations.
You have certifications related to project management (e.g. PMP PMIACP)
