We are currently seeking a Fulltime Veterinary Nurse who is highly motivated and passionate to join our team at Oxley Highway Vet Hospital!
Oxley Highway Vet Hospital is located in Port Macquarie at the mouth of the Hastings River on the midNSWNorth Coast. What Were Looking For:
Cert IV Vet Nurse or equivalent qualification.
Strong experience in nursing and handling a variety of cases.
A positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
A genuine passion for animal care and a commitment to providing the best service to our clients and their pets.
The ability to thrive in a fastpaced highenergy environment.
About The Role
Provide exceptional customercareand educationto our clients
Supportour Vets with routine examinations diagnostics and procedures
Manage the admission and discharge of surgical and hospital cases
Provide surgical and hospital nursing including monitoring anaesthetics
Conduct blood collection and testingivcatheter placement
Prepare and administer medications as required
Assist with xraysultrasoundsand dental procedures
Maintain surgical and treatment areas infection control
Providepre and postcompassionate care to hospitalised cases
General day to day nursing duties.
