Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate Float Teacher or Nursery Teacher to join our network at Podar Education Network in Davanagere. This fulltime entrylevel position is ideal for freshers who are enthusiastic about nurturing early childhood development. Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in child development enabling you to foster an environment that is conducive to the growth of young minds (Mandatory skill).
- Expertise in early childhood education helping to design and implement educational activities that encourage curiosity and learning (Mandatory skill).
- Familiarity with nursery teaching techniques and best practices to manage and support young learners effectively (Mandatory skill).
- Skilled in classroom management ensuring a safe engaging and orderly classroom environment for enhanced learning experiences.
- First Aid Certification equipping you to handle any minor injuries or emergencies that may occur within the classroom setting.
- Excellent team collaboration skills to work seamlessly with other teachers staff and management within the educational network.
- Effective communication with parents to keep them informed of their childs progress activities and any concerns that may arise.
- Knowledge of Montessori educational principles allowing you to incorporate various teaching approaches to support diverse learning needs.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ageappropriate lesson plans that encourage cognitive emotional and social development among students.
- Monitor and assess the progress of children keeping detailed records to inform assessments and individualized learning strategies.
- Create a nurturing and stimulating educational environment tailored to support each childs holistic growth and development.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and administrative staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning experience for students.
- Engage with parents and guardians providing regular updates on their childs progress and addressing any questions or concerns.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment by adhering to health and safety regulations and classroom management practices.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay updated on the latest teaching methods and educational trends.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that respects and celebrates diversity among students.
