Within our growing Amazon Business Global Events & Experiences organization we are seeking an accomplished event content & programming lead to bring the Amazon Business brand to life at our events with an industryleading program for event content thought leadership programming and speaker management. The right candidate will have a track record of working with a team of marketers and content developers to build content strategies for owned and industry events globally. This role will have endtoend ownership of programming for owned and thirdparty event general sessions main stages speaker selection and preparation and keynote delivery. This person should be creative results oriented relentlessly focused on the customer and push to uphold high standards for writing brand building and marketing . This person should be passionate about building compelling messages and thought leadership with the goal of shifting perceptions of procurement and financial decision makers and driving sustained awareness and brand familiarity. You will also report program health regularly to key stakeholders and partner teams across the organization. This position will be based in Seattle (relocation assistance available) and will report to the Global Head of Amazon Business Events & Experiences.

This is a highly crossfunctional role that requires close partnership across executive leadership speakers product marketing brand & thought leadership product management content marketing finance field marketing sales communications finance. and global teams. It requires strong communication skills both verbal and written. This role requires an organized creative marketer and a solid storyteller to shift perceptions through inspiration and thought leadership across industry stages and our owned events and executive programs. As an owner you will define the Amazon Business global event content strategy and marketing narratives for inperson events. You will also own event content tools and processes including speaker certification programs that drive efficiencies as well as uplevel the storytelling to inspire customers while scaling globally.

Key job responsibilities
Build execute and scale crossfunctional event content & programming globally
Work across multiple time zones to set the strategy and long term thinking for global event programming and content
Define program goals and timelines related to program deliverables communicating and aligning on those expectations with global content stakeholders.
Define program framework for global executive engagement program (including customer advisory boards and executive briefings) as well as global speaker certification and development program.
Work closely with crossfunctional teams to understand key messaging and product roadmaps in order to build successful content strategy for owned and thirdparty events across multiple verticals
Own the measurement of event programming and content including defining KPIs
Define content planning tools to ensure consistency across all events worldwide
Develop recommendations for new initiatives that drive brand consistency and adoption globally
Identify resourcing plan for global event content balancing internal resources with agency support maintaining customer obsession and frugality
Dive deep when necessary on content and production (including writing PowerPoint etc.
Set and hold a consistently high bar for design and content quality of all customerfacing event materials
Oversee event content endtoend including creative input development and from concept to completion
Present program metrics and progress to goal to seniorlevel stakeholders driving alignment with crossfunctional teams
Act as final reviewer of all event content including voice grammar and copy editing with attention to detail and relentlessly high quality and standards

A day in the life
This person will ensure we have consistent programming (content and activations) across all Amazon Business events. While this role will primarily focus on content they will also define and refine new program frameworks including content intake and development processes and overall attendee experience as it relates to education and thought leadership. With this in mind each day will vary for this team member.

About the team
The AB Global Events and Experiences team is a small but mighty team that is building B2B event marketing programs. We are in our third year and are looking to expand the team with someone who can be strategic yet spy look at the big picture while diving in on and is willing to roll their sleeves up to develop customerobsessed events.

6 years of professional noninternship marketing experience
Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
Experience building executing and scaling crossfunctional marketing programs
Experience communicating results to senior leadership
Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data

Experience in B2B event marketing
Experience working with a fastpaced and geographically dispersed organization
Ability to prioritize in complex fastpaced environment
Ability to gather interpret and apply a wide range of data

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $112800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $186500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
