Position Purpose:
Responsible for the retention and profitable growth of Content Services revenue within the PR Newswire (PRN) business unit of Cision. By working as part of a broader solutions overlay function the Executive Account Director is responsible for driving the retention growth and new business for PRN Content Services products within their assigned territory both with new business teams and renewal teams. This position is multifunctional as it entails delivering strategic sales support product expertise and sales effectiveness activities to a broad set of customers and internal stakeholders.
The Job:
- Identify and close Content Services opportunities within existing PRN client base
- Identify and close Content Services revenue opportunities with nonPRN prospects within region
- Responsible to work independently as industry experts in defined territory to close business
- Responsible to be the Content Services SME in their territory for assisting the PRN sellers to identify and close opportunities
- Responsible for positioning complex solutions including earned paid shared and owned media solutions in addition to broadcast content creation and distribution services to target audiences
- Guidance available to Content Services include a Strategy Team and Strict Proposal Process to ensure margins are in accordance with company policy
You Have:
- Bachelors Degree required
- Actionoriented
- At least 8 years of successful outside sales experience with demonstrated ability to exceed assigned quotas through retention and expansion and to meet sales activity and behavior expectations
- Expert proficiency in CRM (Salesforce)
- Fluency in Sales tech stack (Salesloft Gong Outreach etc.
- Ability to travel to client sites daily with the potential for 20 40 travel
- Excellent networking relationship building communication presentation and persuasion skills
- Generate sales leads in defined territory
- Work strategically with internal strategy partners SMEs stakeholders and the customer buying group to tailor custom multichannel solutions fit to the customers concept
- Work with local PRN Reps as SME to identify business opportunities
- Negotiating all proposals with prospective clients
- Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports
- Conduct sales presentations to a range of prospective clients
- Understand and promote company services and offerings
- Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs and position applicable solutions
- Maintaining client records and sales opportunities via SFDC
- Answering client questions about products prices and availability

For Individuals based in New York Illinois Colorado Washington and California Cision is required to disclose a salary range for this role. This compensation range is specific to these states however base pay may vary depending on a range of relevant factors.
