Job OverviewThe Sr Manager Indirect Procurement at TMobile is instrumental in leading and optimizing procurement and supply chain functions across the organization. This role is responsible for developing strategies managing vendor relationships and overseeing a team of procurement professionals to ensure operational excellence (PR/PO Creation) and costefficiency. By implementing best practices and innovative procurement solutions the Sr Manager enhances the effectiveness of the supply chain contributing significantly to the organizations overall success. Regular interaction with internal and external executives and stakeholders ensures alignment and supports strategic objectives. Ultimately this role is crucial in maintaining a robust efficient procurement system that supports TMobiles service excellence and market competitiveness.
** This position must be located in Overland Park KS. This role is hybrid and cannot be a remote role.
Job Responsibilities:
Oversees a team of procurement professionals providing guidance and leadership to enhance performance
Manages vendor and strategic supplier relationships to secure advantageous terms and maintain supply chain reliability
Develops procurement strategies that align with organizational goals and ensures costefficiency
Implements best practices and innovative solutions to improve the procurement process
Ensures compliance with internal and external policies and regulations within the procurement department
Interacts regularly with internal and external executives to align procurement strategies with business objectives
Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.
Education and Work Experience:
Bachelors Degree Business Finance Technology or Engineering (Required)
Masters/Advanced Degree Business Administration or Supply Chain Management (Preferred)
710 years Experience in leading and managing procurement processes and supply chain operations in a technology or wireless industry (Required)
710 years Experience in developing and negotiating complex agreements with suppliers including key program specifications and objectives (Required)
710 years Experience in implementing procurement strategies and solutions to enhance supply chain effectiveness and costefficiency (Required)
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Vendor Management Expertise in managing and negotiating with vendors to secure favorable terms and maintain supply chain efficiency. (Required)
Strategic Planning Ability to develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the organizations overall business goals. (Required)
Leadership Strong leadership skills to guide and develop a team of procurement professionals fostering a highperformance culture. (Required)
Problem Solving Capability to identify and resolve complex issues within the procurement process to ensure operational continuity and efficiency. (Required)
Negotiation Proficient in negotiation to achieve optimal contract terms and cost savings while maintaining quality and service standards. (Required)
Analytics Strong analytical skills to assess procurement metrics and performance facilitating datadriven decision making. (Required)
Supply Chain Management Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain operations including planning forecasting and inventory control. (Required)
Communication Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders and lead executivelevel presentations. (Required)
Financial Analysis Ability to perform financial analysis to evaluate vendor proposals and the overall costeffectiveness of procurement activities. (Required)
Change Management Skills in managing change within the procurement department to adopt new processes and technologies effectively. (Preferred)
Licenses and Certifications:
Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) Certification from APICS that demonstrates knowledge in supply chain management and procurement processes. (Preferred)
Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) Certification from the Institute for Supply Management (ISM) that indicates expertise in supply management and procurement. (Preferred)
Project Management Professional (PMP) Internationally recognized certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) that demonstrates proficiency in project management useful for managing procurement projects. (Preferred)

Base Pay Range: $128800 $232400Corporate Bonus Target: 20
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidates actual pay will be based on various factors such as work location qualifications and experience so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At TMobile employees in regular nontemporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a yearend bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employees eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
