The Opportunity
As a BI Analyst you will work with internal business partners to provide actionable insights by transforming raw data into operational outcomes. You will provide accurate timely reporting and play a crucial role in helping to guide Canopys datadriven strategies.
This is a hybrid position in South Jordan Utah (M W F inoffice).
What Youll Do
Data Analysis and Insight Generation
- Develop and deliver regular reports dashboards and visualizations to internal stakeholders.
- Analyze complex data sets providing insights that drive strategic decisionmaking.
- Use Tableau Excel DBT Redshift and more to give stakeholders answers when and where they need them.
- Use data to answer the difficult questions that no one else can.
Crossfunctional Collaboration
- Collaborate with other departments and teams to gather requirements define problems and deliver the answers they need.
- Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand their business needs and provide strategic guidance.
Performance Monitoring and Optimization
- Monitor and measure the performance of your BI solutions ensuring data accuracy quality and timeliness.
- Identify areas for improvement and optimization proposing and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the company.
What Were Looking For
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Business Administration or a related field is required.
- Proven experience 3 years) in a similar role with a focus on business intelligence data analysis and reporting. Prior experience in SaaS is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in data visualization tools and technologies. We use Tableau internally but experience with Power BI Looker and other tools is also accepted.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and data query languages.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts data modeling ETL processes and database management. Experience with DBT preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively convey complex information to nontechnical stakeholders.

Interviewing @ Canopy:
Application processes can be a little stressful. Here are the stages of a typical interview process at Canopy:
- Once your application is received we will review it and get back to you if we feel like its a mutual fit!
- 20minute phone call with the People Team
- 4560minute video or inperson interview with the Hiring Manager
- 13 rounds of interviews depending on the role
- Final Interview
