The City of Edmonton is seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our Parks and Roads Services team as Encampment Labourers. In this vital role you will be part of a team responsible for cleaning and restoring various sites across Edmonton particularly focusing on addressing the complex issue of homelessness and encampments on public land. This position requires a strong commitment to safety teamwork and environmental stewardship as you will be working to restore the natural environment to its predisturbance state.
As an Encampment Labourer you will play a crucial role in the cleanup of vacant encampments throughout the City of Edmontons parks and river valley system. This involves preparing for site cleanups removing refuse and hazards and ensuring sites are restored effectively. The work is physical in nature requiring the use of both manual and specialized tools and equipment and an awareness of the challenges faced by individuals experiencing homelessness. You will also collaborate with other City services and outreach teams to ensure the safe and respectful removal of encampments.

Salary Range: $23.504 $31.302 (Hourly); $49076.350 $65358.580 (Annually)
