Job Description

Initially built to take the pain out of peertopeer payments Cash App has gone from a simple product with a single purpose to a dynamic ecosystem developing unique financial products including Afterpay/Clearpay to provide a better way to send spend invest borrow and save to our 50 million monthly active customers. The Role

Join a highimpact team driving the next phase of growth at Cash App. Cash App is making a focused investment in reaching new audiencesand this role is central to that strategy. As the Growth Marketing Manager Expansion youll own the paid marketing channel strategy that sits outside of our alwayson growth program; youll be tasked with winning the attention of untapped audiences and converting them into meaningful drivers of Cash Apps next chapter of growth.

While rooted in performance marketing this role is designed for someone who is comfortable in uncharted territories and gets excited about driving incremental growth through 0 to 1 initiatives. Youll bring a mix of tactical resourcefulness curiosity and inventive problemsolving to identify whitespace opportunities and turn early experiments into scalable growth strategies.

You Will

  • Design paid marketing experimentation campaigns that aim to unlock new audiences and emerging channels as tactical levers for our growing performance marketing program
  • Quickly develop and refine creative and media approaches in close partnership with data science analytics and creative teamsturning early ideas into scalable highperforming campaigns
  • Build proofofconcept summaries that turn early test results into compelling proposalsearning buyin to scale new tactics into alwayson growth programs
  • Work with internal and external partners to design holistic measurement strategies for emerging platforms and initiativesensuring we capture the meaningful signals needed to establish longterm value
  • Stay tapped into evolving trends across channels platforms and consumer behaviorbringing a challenger mindset and industryleading ideas to the table

You Have

  • Performance Marketing Foundation: 35 years of experience executing performance campaigns across paid channels ideally with handson experience building something from the ground up
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: Operates with a testandlearn mindset and thrives in ambiguitycreative spy and obsessed with finding signal in the noise
  • Audience Discovery & Strategy: Skilled in targeting segmentation and message testing to uncover and scale new user cohorts
  • Experimentation Expertise: Comfortable designing tests and iterating quicklycombining data with intuition to identify what works and what doesnt
  • Data & Reporting Skills: Ability to work closely with analytics and data science to inform strategy. Must have handson experience manipulating your own data (SQL or Excel) and visualizing it (Tableau Mode Looker or similar platforms)
  • Strategic Storytelling & Influence: Communicates insights clearly and persuasively especially with nonmarketing stakeholdersearning buyin and driving action
  • Market Awareness: Deep curiosity and awareness of the evolving media and marketing landscape with a proactive approach to applying new ideas and trends
  • Collaborative Mindset: Brings good energy low ego and a collaborative spiritsomeone who thrives on shared wins and makes the work better (and more inspiring) for everyone around them
