Position Summary:
Sells industry related parts over the counter phone email or in person while providing superior customer service to all customers. This position will be a four 10hour afternoon/evening shift: 11:30 AM to 10:00 PM Monday through Thursday. 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM Occasional Saturday.
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:
- Assists internal and external customers in obtaining required parts in a friendly professional manner.
- Providing accurate and timely price quotes and other partsrelated information to customers.
- Makes outbound sales calls as required.
- Responsible for developing and growing accounts as assigned.
- Upsells customers with related parts.
- Issues credit for returned goods.
- Makes informed decisions regarding credit assuring to comply with credit guidelines provided by company.
- Pulls orders for customers and helps load parts into vehicles.
- Inventory responsibility to include cycle counts outofstock notifications to management outofstock materials locating and ordering when needed assigned outofstock replenishment backordered and willcall parts followup.
- Maintains accurate records of all repair orders invoices insurance estimates and special order parts.
- Coordinates and processes orders for shipment delivery or pickup.
- Participates in all training programs that are made available and keeps current on new products and product updates.
- Reviews openorder reports and closes/voids invoices within 60 days.
- Stays connected to other employees and customers through the use of email voicemail as well as other forms of communication.
- Inspects cores and processes monthly returns to vendors.
- Demonstrate competency in parts learning system through participation in the elearning product knowledge modules from PACCAR Cummins and other parts knowledge systems.
- Other duties to meet business needs.
Qualifications:
- 12 months plus truck parts experience

Preferred Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED
- Truck Dealership experience
