The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and creative individual to join our Marketing team for the summer as a Marketing Assistant. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands on experience in marketing social media management event planning within a fast paced and supportive environment.
Position Overview
As a Marketing Assistant you will assist in the development and of marketing campaigns across various platforms. You will also assist in creating engaging content for social media blog posts and newsletters. Furthermore you will support event planning coordination and promotion. You will collaborate with team members on Sales branding and promotional strategies. You will also perform general administrative tasks to support the marketing Team.
Schedule Description
This is a Temporary Parttime position 30 hours per week) which is inside the bargaining unit.
Tuesday Friday: 9:30am 5:00pm
Some Saturday Shifts may be required
Note: These hours may be altered due to operational requirements including some Saturday shifts as required. Ability to travel as needed to StellerVista branches/locations is required.
Temporary Position: May August 2025
Job Grade 3: $21.66/hr. $25.49/hr.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a postsecondary diploma/degree in Marketing communication or related field
- Proven social media and digital design abilities (portfolio or examples needed)
- A valid drivers license and the ability to travel as needed to all StellerVista branches/locations.
