Summary of the role:
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Principal Cloud Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role you will contribute to the development of cloudnative software solutions and lead the design and implementation of batch job orchestration systems using Go Kubernetes and cloud platforms such as AWS GCP and Azure. Your responsibilities will also include mentoring a small team of engineers to ensure the delivery of highquality software on schedule. Key Requirements:Skills and Technologies
- Bachelors or masters degree in computer science Engineering or a related field.
- Total years of work experience: 12 years.
- Proficiency in programming languages primarily Golang.
- Strong experience in Database PostgreSQL Performance optimization Scaling
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and strong systems knowledge in Linux Kernel cgroups namespaces.
- Experience with Container Orchestration Technology and certifications in Kubernetes (CKA CKAD) are highly desirable.
- Design and develop scalable resilient and efficient Kubernetesbased SaaS Enterprise application
- Experience with Distributed Microservices Architecture.
- Experience with different Service Communication technologies (Messaging queuebased communication Kafka/RabbitMQ).
- Experience with Security in Microservices Architecture and knowledge of common authentication protocols and implement and maintain security measures to protect the application and user data from unauthorized access.
- Familiarity with various authorization models RoleBased Access Control.
- Experience with web development frameworks and Services (GRPC RESTful).
- RDBMS (PostgreSQL) databases experience and design persistence layer for Microservices using ORMs.
- Experience with Monitoring and Logging in Distributed Systems (e.g. Prometheus Grafana) and logging solutions (e.g. ELK stack Fluentd) is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS GCP Azure) including a background in Cloud infrastructure & Services (network cloud storagerelated solutions IAM Cloud function etc..
- Excellent problemsolving skills with an ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and communicate with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the timely delivery of highquality software that meets business requirements and maintains high performance in production environments.
- Contribute to the design and development of cloudnative applications using Go ensuring scalability reliability and security.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a small team of engineers guiding them through best practices and technical challenges.
- Conduct code reviews and perform thorough testing to identify and resolve issues.
- Collaborate closely with other engineering teams product managers and stakeholders to define technical solutions and deliverables.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on progress challenges and solutions.
- Stay up to date with emerging cloud technologies and best practices applying them to enhance the applications performance and identify areas for optimization and product quality.
