Job Description

  • Part Time 0.6 or 0.8 FTE) 2year fixed term contract
  • Newly created role to support the Director South Australia
  • Leading LGBTQIA community services organisation

About the Role

Working in a part time capacity this newly created role will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with management of emails and other forms of communication

  • Providing calendar management for Director SA prioritising requests and troubleshooting conflicts.

  • Undertaking research and preparing documents and reports while developing and maintaining other records filing and document management systems

  • Support with onboarding and mandatory checks for volunteers

  • Support with embedding SA legislation and governance into THH policies and procedures.

About you

You will have a certificate or tertiary qualification in business or business administration and/or experience in an administration role or similar. You will also have:

  • Demonstrated experience in an office coordinator/manager/administration/PA role. Previous notforprofit experience will be highly regarded.

  • Welldeveloped organisational skills including the ability to react with appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office365 suite including programs

  • High degree of professionalism in dealing with diverse groups of people including staff senior executives community members and funders.
