Summary
As a Patio Server youll provide friendly genuine service for our guests as they enjoy our outdoor Patio space. Youll take orders serve food and drinks and help create a warm relaxed atmosphere where guests feel welcome and well cared for.
Were looking for someone who can...
- Welcome and greet guests helping them feel comfortable and cared for from the moment they arrive.
- Share daily specials answer questions and make genuine recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately entering them into the POS system to communicate with the kitchen and bar.
- Deliver food and drinks promptly checking in to ensure guests are satisfied and responding to any requests or concerns.
- Prepare final checks process payments and thank guests while inviting them to return.
- Maintain clean and organized service areas and complete side work at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Assist with bussing and resetting tables as needed.
- Support fellow servers and team members to ensure smooth service.

Qualifications
- Required 3 years restaurant serving experience
- Flexible work availability including weekends required
- Equivalent education skills and/or experience necessary to perform the essential functions may be considered
Required Permits & Certifications
- WA Food Worker Card required within 14 days after hire
- WA Class 12/13 Alcohol Server Permit (MAST) required within 60 days after hire

Collaboration & Engagement
As a Patio Server you will work under the direct guidance of the Director of Outlets. In addition to your home department you may occasionally interface with other teams. You will not oversee other staff and can expect a significant level of interaction with guests and the public.
Foundational & Prerequisite Skills
- Basic safetyconsciousness knowledge of food regulations (handling sanitation storage) related industry terminology knowledge standards and best practices basic math calculation of discounts interest proportions and volume general troubleshooting making of caf beverages and beer wine mixology and spirits knowledge.
- Intermediate written composition comprehension and English (reading writing).
- Advanced spoken English.
Learn As You Go
- Basic radio/walkietalkie operation.
- Intermediate point of sale (POS) system familiarity.

Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Physical Demands. The employee is regularly required to talk hear stand for extended periods walk sit climb stairs demonstrate hand dexterity reach stoop kneel bend twist push pull or crouch. Occasionally the employee may lift or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close and distance vision. The role may also require sustained visual and mental concentration.
