Quantum computing holds the promise of humanitys mastery over the natural world but only if we can build a real quantum computer. PsiQuantum is on a mission to build the first real useful quantum computers capable of delivering the worldchanging applications that the technology has long promised. We know that means we will need to build a system with roughly 1 million qubits that supports fault tolerant error correction within a scalable architecture and a data center footprint.
By harnessing the laws of quantum physics quantum computers can provide exponential performance increases over todays most powerful supercomputers offering the potential for extraordinary advances across a broad range of industries including climate energy healthcare pharmaceuticals finance agriculture transportation materials design and many more.
PsiQuantum has determined the fastest path to delivering a useful quantum computer years earlier than the rest of the industry. Our architecture is based on silicon photonics which gives us the ability to produce our components at Tier1 semiconductor fabs such as GlobalFoundries where we leverage highvolume semiconductor manufacturing processes the same processes that are already producing billions of chips for telecom and consumer electronics applications. We also benefit from the quantum mechanics reality that photons dont feel heat or electromagnetic interference allowing us to take advantage of existing cryogenic cooling systems and industry standard fiber connectivity.
In 2024 PsiQuantum announced two governmentfunded projects to support the buildout of our first Quantum Data Centers and utilityscale quantum computers in Brisbane Australia and Chicago Illinois. Both projects are backed by nations that understand quantum computings potential impact and the need to scale this technology to unlock that potential. And we wont just be building the hardware but also the fault tolerant quantum applications that will provide industrytransforming results.
As a member of the CBO organization you will join a rapidly growing team responsible for all of the companys gotomarket functions including applications and development platform engineering domainspecific solutions development government and commercial account management product management and information technology and security operations.

Job Summary:
Australias deep well of talent and strong legacy in quantum research make Australia an ideal country for PsiQuantum to construct the worlds first faulttolerant quantum computer. With our AsiaPacific Head office in Brisbane where our first utilityscale system is set to be built and commissioned PsiQuantum will be key in paving the way for a new cuttingedge quantum industry to be anchored on Australian shores. This journey will see the continued growth of Australias strong and vibrant education and partner ecosystem with PsiQuantum helping shape its future path.
Building on this framework our Quantum Ecosystem Partnerships Manager will be a proactive selfstarter with a cando attitude and solutionfocused mindset. They will be a natural collaborator and drive PsiQuantums work to build a robust quantum ecosystem across universities and education bodies research organisations and areas of the advanced manufacturing and deep tech industry in Australia. The right person will serve as the bridge between PsiQuantums technical team and potential partners across the country with a strong focus in Queensland and be a quantum ambassador that can raise awareness of PsiQuantums mission and capabilities cross universities and industry. They will also work alongside other parts of the company to help promote broader partnerships across the range of stakeholders including government business operations and customers.
Responsibilities:
- Systematically identify assess and develop strategic partnerships within the Australian quantum and advanced technology ecosystem encompassing universities research organisations and commercial R&D. Develop and advance proposals that execute on identified highvalue opportunities.
- Facilitate the building of quantum training and upscaling efforts in partnership with relevant organizations universities and government officials at various levels. Input on syllabus / course materials build employment skills criteria become trusted privatesector sounding board for skills development to be skillsready ahead of the quantum economys demands.
- Systematically and strategically expand awareness of PsiQuantum its maturity and its pathway across the ecosystem. Make presentations and be the daytoday point of engagement with the Australian ecosystem in conjunction with business operations and external relations as appropriate. Grow the PsiQuantum network.
- Manage partnerships (individually and as a portfolio) with existing and new stakeholders maintaining focus and critical pathway to outcomes.
Experience/Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of applicable professional experience required.
- Demonstrated ability to engage with key academic and advanced technology ecosystem stakeholders.
- Experience in building highimpact training partnerships and industry development programs preferably in the technology or advanced manufacturing industry.
- PhD in physical sciences engineering or technology desirable.
- Work experience at an Australian academic institution or research organisation preferred.
- Strongproject management and organisational skills with a proactive and detailoriented mindset.
- Highproficiency in MS Office and other modern software applications.
