To support our rapid growth in the Dutch market we are looking for a dedicated and experienced Key Account Manager (KAM) who will be fully responsible for managing strategic customers in the Netherlands with a focus on excavator equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the sales strategy for Key Accounts in the Netherlands specifically in the excavator segment
- Manage and expand relationships with existing key customers; serve as their main point of contact
- Identify and acquire new strategic customers and partners within the Dutch construction and machinery rental sectors
- Understand customer needs and provide tailored excavator solutions
- Lead contract negotiations and pricing discussions ensuring win-win outcomes
- Coordinate internal resources including technical after-sales and finance teams to support customer success
- Regularly visit client sites across the Netherlands (minimum 3 days per week in the field)
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to inform sales strategies
- Ensure timely reporting via CRM systems and provide regular business updates to management
Requirements:
- Fluent in Dutch (spoken and written) mandatory
- Minimum 3 years of experience in excavator or heavy equipment sales mandatory
- Proven track record in managing key accounts and achieving sales targets
- Strong negotiation communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and result-oriented; capable of working independently
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel frequently within the Netherlands
- Proficiency in English; Chinese language skills are a plus but not a must
- Familiarity with CRM systems and MS Office
