Job Description

To support our rapid growth in the Dutch market we are looking for a dedicated and experienced Key Account Manager (KAM) who will be fully responsible for managing strategic customers in the Netherlands with a focus on excavator equipment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the sales strategy for Key Accounts in the Netherlands specifically in the excavator segment
  • Manage and expand relationships with existing key customers; serve as their main point of contact
  • Identify and acquire new strategic customers and partners within the Dutch construction and machinery rental sectors
  • Understand customer needs and provide tailored excavator solutions
  • Lead contract negotiations and pricing discussions ensuring win-win outcomes
  • Coordinate internal resources including technical after-sales and finance teams to support customer success
  • Regularly visit client sites across the Netherlands (minimum 3 days per week in the field)
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to inform sales strategies
  • Ensure timely reporting via CRM systems and provide regular business updates to management

Requirements:

  • Fluent in Dutch (spoken and written) mandatory
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in excavator or heavy equipment sales mandatory
  • Proven track record in managing key accounts and achieving sales targets
  • Strong negotiation communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and result-oriented; capable of working independently
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel frequently within the Netherlands
  • Proficiency in English; Chinese language skills are a plus but not a must
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and MS Office
