The Opportunity
In the framework of this project we want to create A guide to the energy selfsufficient plant in Penzberg exploring all possible currently known energy generation sources (e.g. wind water air etc. and potential storage options (heating cooling electricity) and their local allocation on Site (decentralized per building vs. centralized in strategically smart locations). The proposed project is relevant to the Site Penzberg because it will support required decision making targeting CO2 reductions/neutrality as well as energy circularity. It complements the CO2 Roadmap Projects Penzberg that is Penzbergs decarbonization strategy as well as other feasibility studies/project initiations looking for a sustainable energy heat source. The project is set to investigate how a selfsufficient energy autonomous Site Penzberg could look like to create business operations regardless of geopolitical developments.
