Client Accountant / Senior Accountant Independent Accountancy Practice Preston
Location: Preston Lancashire
Salary:per annum (DOE)
Job Type: Fulltime Permanent
Are you an experienced Client Accountant or Senior Accountant looking for an exciting opportunity within a growing independent accountancy practice Our client a wellestablished and expanding firm based in Preston is seeking a talented individual to join their team and support a diverse portfolio of clients.
The Role:
As a Client Accountant / Senior Accountant you will be responsible for:
- Managing a portfolio of clients including sole traders partnerships and limited companies
- Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts management accounts and VAT returns
- Handling corporate and personal tax computations and submissions
- Providing business advisory support and liaising with clients directly
- Assisting with training and mentoring junior team members
- Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and tax regulations
About You:
Experience: A minimum of 3 years experience in an accountancy practice
Qualifications: ACA / ACCA qualified or partqualified (or equivalent experience)
Skills: Strong technical knowledge excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to client management
Software: Experience with accounting software such as Xero QuickBooks or Sage would be advantageous
